The Civil Defense College is a military college and one of the scientific edifices,which operates in accordance with the instructions and laws of the higher ministry of education where the college is academically affiliated with AL-Balqa Applied University, and administratively to the General Directorate of Civil Defense and it has both public and private accreditations from the Higher Education Accreditation Commission and its Quality Assurance. The diploma is awarded in technical pioneering majors in civil protection sciences such as: pre – hospital care,(paramedic) firefighting and rescue techniques  &  Prevention, public safety & techniques for dealing with hazardous materials ;

in order

to enable its graduates in these two majors, who are well qualified and trained, with the necessary competencies, knowledge and experience, to deal in a professional way with all the emergency cases and accidents at work sites wether in pre hospital care fields, firefighting and rescuefields, each according to the nature of his specialization.
