Head of Admission and Registration Department

Major Dr. Moin Khalif Al-Qarala

 

The Admission Registration Department is a center for any operations related to students who have the desire to enroll the civil defense college and in coordination with academic affairs departments. Whereas it represents the connection between students and teaching staff in the college on one hand, and between the Civil Defense College, and Al-Balqa Applied University and the Accreditation Commission for Higher Education Institutions on the other hand

 

 
where the student’s direct relationship with the college begins with the announcement
of the opening of admission for new students (recruitment) to receive the required papers
and documents, and to guide and introduce them to study instructions, and
finally with graduation procedures and having their certificates, also the
Admission Registration Department responsible of the academic registering courses,
and providing the student with the semester results and transcripts, applying academic
instructions to students and implementing all new academic matters, and accordingly;
The student's relationship with the admission and registration department continues throughout the
study period and beyond.
 
 
 

 

 

Admission and Registration Department Duties:

1. Coordination between the college and Al-Balqa Applied University regarding all academic matters

2. Supervising the admitted students registering process to study at the college with the Admission and Registration department at the university.

 
 3. Supervising the progress of the credit hours registering process on the electronic registration system.
4. Supervising the process results entry from the moment they are entered by teachers until they are approved by the Dean and announced.
5. Supervising the registration process for students who are qualified for the comprehensive exam on the assessment and examinations website of Al-Balqa Applied University.
6. Follow up on the college's email.
7. Applying the decisions issued by the college council regarding the academic status of students.
8. supervise the implementation of granting transcripts of grades to the graduates’ students and experience certificates to the teachers’ staff after the dean college approval.
9. Checking the financial statements (supervision allowance fees, courses licensing fees, comprehensive exam fees, and tuition fees) in coordination with the college accounting division, the Civil Defense Directorate Finance Division and the University’s Financial division.
10. Supervise the organization of programs study and their approval to the university calendar and study plan.
11. Providing the audit committees with the colleges emanating from the university with the statements of students, whether they are expected to graduate, qualified, unqualified, or dismissed for official approval by the university.
12. Supervising the college's commitment not to exceed the absorptive capacity and notifying the dean college of that.
13. Supervise the financial claims for teachers in coordination with the accounting officer.
14. Supervise the grades electronically on the system for entering grades by teachers, according to the instructions issued by Al-Balqa Applied University, and extracting relevant reports.
15. Providing the chairman with students reports who have failed, non-advanced students and those with low averages at the end of each semester.
16. Any other duties assigned to the department by whomever he is in charge in accordance with the organizational structure.
